Nursing and Allied Health Grants 2025 Recipients Announced

RPH Research Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of our Nursing and Allied Health Grants 2025. This year’s recipients will be working on projects designed to directly enhance patient care at Royal Perth Hospital and East Metropolitan Health Service. The Foundation has awarded a total of $74,693 across five research projects.

This year’s grants will support patient-centred projects that aim to shine a light on the impact of various treatment and monitoring techniques on the experiences of Perth patients. For example, Rebecca Crellin’s project aims to investigate how patients feel about receiving innovative care through virtual monitoring provided by the Health in a Virtual Environment (HIVE) program. The grants will also provide much-needed support to Perth clinicians, with projects that aim to address the important issues of clinician burnout and the lack of a validated nurse-sensitive outcomes (NSOs) framework for inpatient mental health settings in WA.

Emotional Labour in Healthcare: A Targeted Intervention for Burnout Management
